"An icon of French sugar cane history, La Perruche is part of the gastronomic and cultural heritage."

At the end of the 18th century, France became the first country in Europe to commercialise sugar cane.

In 1889, the distinctive flavour of brown cane sugars earned numerous medals at the Paris World Fair. The following year, this exceptional recognition gave birth to the 'La Perruche' brand, originating from Reunion Island.

The recipe, crafted from authentic sugar cane juices and the fragrances of the island, has been passed down from generation to generation.

With over 130 years of expertise, La Perruche has become a symbol of excellence in French gastronomy, gracing tables not only on French terraces but also in the most esteemed restaurants and hotels across all five continents.
